Clic Clac Quadrille

This fabric was created by bringing together two designs: Clic Clac, by Julia Abadie, originally created for a silk scarf in 1979 and here reduced to its essence, and a stamped grid pattern by Gianpaolo Pagni. Each design is bicolor; once superposed, the common white colour finely reveals the writing of this fabric printed on silk faille. This superposition creates a strong fabric, with a spectacular scale, available in three contrasted variations.

Briques

Gianpaolo Pagni created this design with one H-shaped stamp. The graphical sign coming from the alphabet forms a brick wall when applied continuously. This 100% wool fabric can be seen as a double game of complementary positive and negative. Briques is a jacquard fabric with no reverse, and no need for lining.

Mille Raies

This design by Gianpaolo Pagni was made with only one stamp applied continuously. This Milleraies evokes the patina of a ribbed fabric, a robust material, and even a relief. This 100% wool fabric can be seen as a double game of complementary positive and negative. Milleraies is a jacquard fabric with no reverse, and no need for lining.

Rubans Jacquard

Using only two stamps, Gianpaolo Pagni builds ribbons which shape a letters labyrinth where we can read HERMES. This “fond natté” 100% wool jacquard fabric is available in four contrasted colourways.

Quatre Chaines

This drawing, created by Gianpaolo Pagni who drew his inspiration from the Catalogues de Colportage of the Hermès archives, is a reference to the equestrian metal working. Quatre chaînes is a 100% cotton jacquard fabric with no reverse, and no need for lining.

Tresses

This chevron bicolour weaving recalls the riding crops braiding and reinvents the Hermes herringbone.

Partition

This design created by Gianpaolo Pagni is complementary to the Clic Clac Quadrillé fabric: the pattern of Partition forms the background of the former. This design depicts a game of stripes and squared shapes, inspired by music scores. Partition is a jacquard fabric as precise as a printed fabric. It has no reverse, which makes it possible not to line in order to play with the complementarity of its two sides.

Rubans Broderie

Using only two stamps, Gianpaolo Pagni builds ribbons which shape a letters labyrinth where we can read HERMES. This first embroidered wool twill fabric recalls the Hermès hand-stitched technique.
