This collection is the result of a search for traces of this artistic exploration of nature, whether through the sweeping view of landscape silhouettes or through a very close observation of the sensual nature of original surfaces such as earth, water, sand, stone, wood or moss. PERSONAL LANDSCAPES picks up on the sensual relationship between humans and nature and transfers it to another form of landscape, namely the residential landscape, which today more than ever is, like nature, a place of familiarity and relaxation.

This collection is dedicated to modern graphics acting as a cultural liberation, pioneering discipline of new, clear aes-thetics and technical innovation. The aesthetics of art and architecture as we know them today were significantly influenced by the Industrial Revolution. New series production methods became an option for the first time. The result was a transformation of the creative processes of how art, craft and industry worked together. Graphic art underwent an almost revolutionary development, by using new printing techniques that gave visual artists the opportunity to free themselves from traditional procedures, heralding the cultural upheaval for which the modern era is so well known today. The new collection from Zimmer + Rohde picks up the spirit of modernity with its designs and colors, but also with the development of the first 100% recycled fabric quality called RE-MIX.
