Τhe CMO Paris Collections
ABACA
Each meter / yard of fabric is carefully created and hand-woven on traditional wooden looms. All the colors found in the Abaca and Abaca Optical references are hand-polished with shell to add shine to the fabric. From harvesting to drying the fiber and weaving it, several steps are essential to obtain the highest quality fabric. Color variations in the weaving are an inherent feature of abaca – they are due to the seasons and fiber harvesting locations. And it is precisely these variations that give the fabric its charm and make each length truly exceptional in its own way.
GESSO
In the craftsman’s hands, ancestral cotton fiber becomes a wonderful artistic piece of work. One by one, the gold or silver leaves spread their metallic glints across the huge canvas to create a unique design. Speckled fiber is revealed through transparency, the painting is inspired by the features of the Earth. – These creations can be used for blinds, lampshades, Japanese panels or as a painting.
HANGING GARDEN
Abaca, bamboo, wool, silk and even reed contrast their natural beauty in hand weavings with great skill on traditional looms. In this distant land, paper also joins up with cotton. With its diverse effects, textures and fibers, an authentic botanical style flows through the collection.
MIXED ABACA
The qualities of the “Mixed Abaca” collection were created exclusively for CMO. This is the story of an encounter between diverse noble materials: silk and cotton are woven with abaca for a delicate, harmonious and unique effect.

Our 7 craftsmen inherited a rare and ancestral know-how. It gave birth to these weavings and blessed them with an uncommon subtlety: a uniqueness made of changing glows and zen nuances.

RAFFIA
The raffia collection reflects a unique know-how. Entirely handcrafted, its manufacturing combines natural materials with very particular weaving, cordage or plaiting methods. CMO’s selection of raffia and their choice of patterns and colors have been designed to create a sophisticated feel with an exotic touch.
SEA & EARTH
Luxury and opulence, such are the words for this collection. The eye meets an artwork of glimmering mother of pearl, iridescent or oxydized silk and twisted recycled paper. Each can only exist through a know-how very few men master.
WATER HYACINTH
The water hyacinth collection is the result of a painstaking selection process. Characterized by its dense and substantial weft, this fiber offers a relaxing atmosphere with exceptional shades and weaves. Mixed with cotton, it is an invitation to rest and unwind.
